Barmah Fine Raffia Trilby Hat

The Barmah Trilby is a well-constructed economical panama style fashionable sun hat, made from fine raffia. This model has a black pugaree hat band and a smaller 5cm brim on all sides giving enough shade when out in the sun and small enough to wear out at night.

This natural palm fibre is plaited by hand and is very lightweight and airy, keeping your head cool. The inside of crown has a fabric patch to stop the front of the crown splitting and provide many years of enjoyment.

We encourage people to wear a hat as loose as they can possibly get away with without the hat falling off your head. To get a good fit, measure the circumference of your head, one inch above your eyebrows, in a comfortable fit (i.e. not too loose and not too tight - as you would like the hat to feel on your head) and then select a size. If you fall in between sizes we recommend to go for the size up, so for example a 58cm head measurement, we would suggest a Large 59cm hat.
